Halloween Costume #1: Rosie the Riveter

Do you want to feel like an empowered, totally badass woman this Halloween?  Do you want to look super cute doing it?   Do you want an absurdly easy costume that everyone will recognise?

Of course you do!

I really don't understand why we don't see more Rosie the Riveters at Halloween.  It's vintage, which everyone loves.  It's feminine, which a lot of us want.  Everyone has seen her and will recognise what you are going for, which is ideal in any costume.  Most of all, it's so freaking easy!

All you need to pull off this great costume:
--  A blue shirt:  I've picked this one from Target.
--  A red polka dotted bandana:  I found this one on Etsy for cheap, but I'm sure you could find others locally.
--  Some kind of peachy lip colour.  I chose this lip stain, because this girl is too busy maintaining the home front to want to worry about reapplying.

And that's it!  If you like, you could add some fake eyelashes for a little added vintage feminine touch.  Be sure to fill in your brows with a pencil so they're nice and strong like Rosie's!

Be prepared to flex your muscles for a lot of photos.
